The actress is most famous for playing Jane Seymour, the young girl who would become the 3rd Queen of Henry VIII on the television show The Tudors. Briem began her acting journey at age 9 in the National Theater in Iceland. As a youngster, she was involved in numerous radio and television shows, plays as well as other performances in Iceland. Her career began as a child performer on the show Ishaan that aired through Disney Channel India. Her film debut was in Shuja Al's Baat Bann Gayi.
