Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big role in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio dramas. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate ending mirrors the last decades that were the life of Walter White.
